The Post Thanksgiving Detox

Sweet potatoes, mixed drinks, stuffing, turkey, and gravy ... oh, and pumpkin pie, whipped cream, cheesecake, and frosting. Thanks a lot Thanksgiving. That big ol' bird helped us jump the shark on that diet that was going so, so well.

We're staring down the holiday sprint hoping to look our best in family photos, at company parties and plotting out 2018 resolutions. What to do? What to do?

It's time for a post-Thanksgiving detox! Who's with us?

First things first, here's what you'll need:
Starting the Cleanse
The little "lull" (if you can even call it that) between Thanksgiving and the holidays is a perfect time to try a cleanse and detox. We suggest our Cleanse and Balance Kit that comes with our revolutionary MagO7 oxygenating digestive cleanse and our ABC multi-fiber blend. The result is a gentle and effective detox that balances the digestive system, supports healthy weight loss, rids the body of toxins and fortifies the gut. Simply take the supplements before breakfast and at bedtime as illustrated on the product page linked above.

A digestive cleanse is a wonderful way to fight occasional constipation and the pesky bloating that may come after a Thanksgiving carbohydrate binge.

Recharge (The Right Way)
Pass on by the coffee, energy drinks, and mixers and choose products that promote more than a crash and burn. Let's face it, the holidays are super stressful and everyone feels like they're running on empty. But that doesn't mean you are stuck with the same old products that give you a split second shot of energy and then a crash that's more exhausting than where you started.

Try our B12 Spray and Stress Away this season. B12 Spray helps improve mental alertness and supplies sustainable energy throughout the day. It's all natural with vitamins and nutrients you can actually pronounce. Pair that with our Pure Vegan Stress Away and you can manage your physical and emotional stress for more restful nights and a more centered day.

Out with the bad and in with the good. This is a detox after all.

Stay in the Green
Now that you've done your digestive cleanse and set up some healthy alternatives, embrace a cleaner diet by starting your morning with a nutritious green smoothie. They're not only delicious but they support digestion, proper hydration and overall health and wellness. We linked one of our favorite recipes above, but we encourage you to find a mix that suits your cravings!

Rinse and Repeat
The secret to a truly successful health and wellness plan is consistency. To maximize your results, marry your journey with a dedicated fitness plan and friends who can support. High cardio workouts may be the most feasible in the rush of the season since you can knock them out in 20-30 minutes. If that's still not possible, set reminders on your phone for daily exercises you can do in the office, around the house or while traveling back and forth to the inlaws. Things like planks, wall sits, air squats, burpees and more can happen virtually anywhere if you set your mind to it.

And the more you move, the more you're supporting a great metabolism post-Thanksgiving. Own it this year! You can do this.
